Linalool is also a naturally-occurring terpene alcohol with pleasant scent (floral, with a touch of spiciness). It is found in many flowers and spice plants, such as hops and coriander seeds. It is extracted from the hops during the brewing process. It is cultivated in fragrances, wine, and of course our Queen with muscetel Darjeeling.

Geraniol is also primary part of oil of rose giving finer grades of darjeeling tea frequently noted in our every so slightly caramelized during the firing process of its longer leaved darjeeling pearls. Geraniol also occurs in lemons, and periwinkle geraniums. Geraniol and Linalool are much sought after components reproduced for use in exquisite eau de parfums. Composing a cornucopia of essential oils with scents.

Darn I am not sure if I love geraniol more?Queen of teas and the Queen Bee are wise in ways only the birds and bees understand! The unique flavor of Darjeeling tea I might add is impossible to recreate.
